Onion - onion jam

ONION - onion jam invented by the French (French - confiture d'oignons) and not perfected here. These are very slow (3 hours) caramelized onions with balsamic vinegar and a small amount of sugar. We know the tricks of how to maximize the natural sweetness of onions, so you need several times less sugar than in other onion jams.

Even those who pick onions out of dishes one by one eat onions. Children hang spoons instead of jam, and it would be difficult to think of a more playful culinary gift. Goes well with hard cheese biscuits, hard cheese, meat and fish dishes, oatmeal with blue cheeses!
